52nd Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting will be held on Friday, April 14th, 2023 at Old Hickory Golf Club located at 11921 Chanceford Dr, Woodbridge, VA 22192. Tickets will be $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids. Tickets will not be sold at the door. 

This is a special one, as we are also celebrating our 50th anniversary. We had a huge party planned 2 years ago, but COVID happened, and that was that. We kept the money in the budget, knowing we wanted to make this a special event for you when we could hold it in-person, and now that time has arrived.

Doors will open at 6:00 pm. The buffet style dinner will begin at 6:30 and have meat, fish, and vegetarian options so all can enjoy. There will also be something especially for the kids. Soda, Lemonade, Tea, and water will be available at no cost throughout the evening. There will be a cash bar so you can purchase tasty adult beverages during the evening. Please drink responsibly!

The main action item during the Business Meeting will be Board Of Director elections. The following Board of Directors are running for another three-year term:

Robert Sharpe

David Cox

Ratification by the membership of the appointment of Kenneth Woods to the Board of Directors is also required. Ken was appointed after the resignation of Board member Dr. Sheila Huckestein. The term will expire in 2025.

After the Business meeting, the live entertainment will begin. The Fabulous Hubcaps, well known for their blend of classic covers for all ages, will be providing live music for the evening. Break out those blue suede shoes as there will be a dance floor out there so you can twist and shout to the music! There may even be a dance contest with a cash prize.  

Speaking of prizes – the door prizes. Elvis may be the King of Rock and Roll, but here cash will be king! The Grand Prize will be $500.00 cash. Other cash and prizes will be awarded throughout the evening.
